An NCTL fully funded training programme in Mathematics, Physics, French and Spanish accredited by The Sutton Park Teaching School Alliance and The Institute of Physics for teachers with QTS

What’s included

This is an opportunity for those who have a teaching qualification but are not currently teaching a subject in which there is a national shortage.  The certificate that is awarded at the end of the year by The Sutton Park Teaching School Alliance, in conjunction with the NCTL, will state that you have completed a programme which will enable you to teach Mathematics, Physics, French or Spanish to GCSE.  There will also be the opportunity for participants to gain 30 Masters level credits towards the Masters in Teaching and Learning through Birmingham City University, although completing this element is not a condition of gaining the certificate.

The programme will be delivered through a series of fortnightly Monday twilight sessions from October to late May between 4.00pm and 6.00pm. There will be further sessions across the year to support the Masters level work.

Please telephone or email to book your free place for the next cohort which begins in October 2017.
